What Level Skier Should Attend an Adult Ski Camp?

One of the most common questions I get asked is:

"Am I good enough for an adult ski camp?"

Interestingly, the people who ask this question are often exactly the people who benefit the most.

After coaching adult skiers for more than 15 years and running ski camps across Canada and Europe, I've found that many skiers underestimate their ability. They assume ski camps are only for expert skiers, former racers, or people who ski every week.

The reality is very different.

The Short Answer

Most adult ski camps are best suited to intermediate, advanced, and expert skiers.

For our camps at Jack's Ski Club, you should generally be able to:

  • Ski steep blue runs comfortably in parallel

  • Control your speed without relying on a snowplough
