Skier Levels
Our skier levels track your progression on the mountain, from building strong fundamentals to developing expert-level carving, edge control, and confidence across all terrain.
Intermediate Levels (1–3)
Level 1:
Beginning parallel skier. Comfortable on green and easier blue runs, making mostly long parallel turns while learning basic balance, edging, and speed control.
Level 2:
Parallel skier most of the time. Can link short and long turns, starting to use pole plants, and skis all green and most blue runs with growing confidence.
Level 3:
Consistent parallel skier. Uses rhythmic pole plants, skis all green and blue runs in varied conditions, and beginning to handle small bumps while improving edge control and turn flow.
Strong Intermediate Levels (4–6)
Level 4:
Confident on all blue runs and beginning to ski moderate red runs. Able to vary turn shape and starting to develop early edge engagement.
Level 5:
Strong on red runs with growing carving ability on easier terrain. Developing pressure control through the turn and comfortable skiing varied snow and moderate bumps.
Level 6:
Consistent carving on green and blue runs and beginning to carve on red runs. Demonstrates good edge angles, pressure control, and confidence on steeper terrain and bumps.
Advanced Levels (7–9)
Level 7:
Strong carving on blue and red runs with good edge angles. Comfortable skiing steeper terrain and beginning to handle bumps and varied snow conditions.
Level 8:
Consistent carving on most red runs with strong pressure control through the turn. Confident skiing steeper reds and some black runs with solid technical control.
Level 9:
Advanced skier capable of carving on steeper terrain, including sections of black runs. Demonstrates strong edge angulation, dynamic pressure control, and fluid skiing in bumps and mixed conditions.
Expert Levels (10–12)
Level 10:
Expert skier with strong carving on steep red runs and sections of black terrain. Demonstrates high edge angles, strong pressure control, and consistent technical performance.
Level 11:
Highly skilled skier capable of carving on steep black runs with powerful, dynamic turns. Shows excellent edge angulation, pressure management, and confidence in varied terrain and conditions.
Level 12:
Elite expert skier. Able to generate maximum edge angles and pressure while carving steep black terrain. Demonstrates exceptional control, precision, and adaptability across all conditions and terrain.
